We use Google Analytics on lakeshortlist.com to understand which pages people visit and whether they click a business’s phone, website or Facebook contact link. Google may process device, browser and approximate location information and use analytics cookies to distinguish visits. Contact clicks indicate interest; they do not establish that a call connected, a lead was delivered or work was booked.

Our tracking code sends the page’s public canonical address and, for labeled contact links, the public business slug. It does not send phone numbers, contact-form values, search text, query strings, URL fragments or referring-page URLs. Google advertising signals and advertising personalization are disabled. Automatic enhanced measurement is disabled.

Your choices

We honor the browser’s Do Not Track setting. To exclude this browser from our analytics, turn off Lake Shortlist analytics for this browser. This saves an exclusion on this device and browser. Clearing website storage removes that preference. Turn analytics back on if you choose.

Comparison and outside websites

Saved business selections use your browser’s local storage; there is no directory account or hosted comparison history. Contact and source links take you to independent businesses or platforms, whose privacy practices apply there. This review site does not accept project inquiries or dispatch work.
